What can I expect from a reading?
Hans and his four main guides work in partnership to bring you relevant information about your life. This may include guidance pertaining to relationships, business, health issues and more often than not a lost loved will come through from the other side and give their name and speak with you. It is an opportunity for your guidance to share with you what you need to hear right now! Your guides know where you have been, where you are right now and what your future holds. They can't wait to talk with you.
How can I get information from a deceased loved one?
Providing information from a deceased loved one is quite an intense event, so this type of information is usually only provided via an in-person reading.
Does Hans record the in-person or phone reading?
We suggest for you to bring and use a tape or digital or tape recorder when you have a session with Hans. As our client list has grown, Hans no longer records readings.
Can I bring a list of questions and/or photos?
Absolutely. Most of the time the guides come through and answer your questions before you have a chance to ask them. You can ask questions at anytime during the reading. Bringing your questions and photos are not mandatory, but can be helpful to ensure that Hans and his guides have addressed your concerns.
Is a telephone reading as good as an in person reading?
Yes, having a telephone reading is not much different than having an in person private reading. You do lose a bit of the intimacy because you and Hans are not in the same room, but the information is not lessened whatsoever as Spirit is everywhere.

Do you accept credit cards for readings?
At this time we only accept credit cards for telephone readings.
How difficult is it to get an immediate reading?
Hans is usually booked at least a month or more in advance. We have a wait list because sometimes we get last minute cancellations. If you are having an emergency please call our office (800-406-9027) and we will see if we can accommodate you.
Does an entity or a guide take over Hans while he is working?
Hans usually is in a semi-trance state while he is giving the reading so that he can answer questions and further counsel you on the information that comes through. Only in rare circumstances would he go into a full-trance state during a reading.
What kind of medium is Hans?
Hans Christian King is a direct voice medium, which means he receives thought from Spirit and then speaks it.
What is the difference between a psychic and a medium?
Everyone has the ability be psychic. Learning to trust your intuition, gut feelings, an inner knowingness. When you start listening to that inner voice, you have the ability to gain control over your life, to create good health, abundance, and love.
Mediums, are fewer and far between. Much of the time mediums are born with their gift. They have the ability to connect directly with and hear spirits, guides, angels who are on the other side. Information from a medium comes from the thoughts provided directly from Spirit, while information provided by a psychic is perceived from their feelings and intuition.
How often should a person come for a reading?
We suggest no more often than every 6 months. Most of our clients see Hans once a year.

What happens during a Message From The Other Side event?
During the first half Hans Christian King and Spirit take the energy of the room and choose a particular spiritual subject that would best be shared for the individual's present. Some of the past themes have included Relationships and Reincarnation, Unconditional Love, The Path of the Soul, and Mediumship and Psychic Development. Often we hear from people saying that the guides were speaking to them directly as if they were the only one in the room.
In the second half Hans goes out into the audience providing personal information (e.g. mini-readings) to as many people as he can get to. These 'hits' can include a lost loved one coming through to give their name and some relevant advice. Possibly, one of your master guides will present you with a health attunement. A friend in Spirit will share with you how a certain pattern of behavior may be limiting you on your souls' path. It is not guaranteed that Hans will be able to share information with everyone present. He customarily gets to about 25 people at every event. This is not a full personal reading. This forum is an opportunity to observe and experience the loving miracles of Spirit at work.
